About the Position
Join our highly specialised Building & Construction practice leader on interesting and fast-paced matters touching all points in the construction cycle, including:
- Construction contract review drafting
- Security of Payments advice and disputes
- Contracts administration
- Risk management for contractor, subcontractor and supplier clients
- Dispute resolution and litigation
The role will also provide opportunities to appear in Court and have primary carriage of files under the supervision of our Sydney Director.
In addition to your day to day work, the role also provides the opportunity to mentor and develop junior staff and also assist the Director with firm marketing and networking opportunities.
Skills and experience
This is a varied role demanding a qualified person with:
- Minimum 2 years PQE in a like role
- Strong academic results
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Highly organised
- Drive for excellence and knowledge
- The desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team making a real contribution to one of the most interesting and important industry sectors in Australia
