The Firm
Our client has a reputation that is outstanding in the insolvency/restructuring area. Acting for local and international banks, hedge funds, litigation funders and insolvency practitioners you will enjoy working for a leading insolvency practitioner who has a formidable reputation in the market.
The Role
As a lawyer, ideally at the 2 to 5 year pqe level, you will be working closely with the partner and other senior members of the team, on complex and challenging insolvency disputes and restructuring matters. A flavour of the work will include:
- voluntary administrations, receiverships and liquidations;
- restructure of companies under stress;
- winding up proceedings;
- enforcement of securities;
- cross-border insolvency matters;
- deed of company arrangements;
- workouts and restructurings.
This is very much a ‘hands on’ role where you will be involved in matter management and be involved in client management. This is definitely not a volume practice and you will work on challenging and rewarding litigation. This role often acts on high profile matters for high profile clients.
This is a high performing, close knit team where your development as a lawyer will go from strength to strength.
The Person
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you will be a lawyer of at least 2 years pqe in the area of insolvency and commercial litigation, have strong academics and superior drafting skills. Commercial nous and first rate client skills are also a must.
You must be driven, ambitious and enjoy working in a busy environment.
