About the role and team

We have an opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant to join our General Insurance section in Sydney working with a highly regarded team.


The General Insurance section in Sydney has approximately 26 team members and this role will have the opportunity work closely with senior lawyers.

Duties

  • Telephone handling for the team.
  • Drafting of documentation as required.
  • Preparation of all monthly billing.
  • Manage all client file maintenance for the team.
  • Diary management for the team.
  • Coordinate all outgoing mail to be signed, compiled and delivered to the mail room.
  • Basic researching for the team.
  • Organising travel arrangements as directed.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required.

Skills and experience

In addition to the above, you will have a minimum of two years' experience in a busy personal injury practice (public liability preferred) and be highly organised with excellent communication skills. Your ability to prioritise and to perform to deadlines is a must have. This is a fantastic opportunity for an assistant to hit the ground running and be part of a friendly, fast-paced team.
