Our Human Resources and Industrial Relations team
Our HR&IR practice group is one of the largest and most respected employment law practices in the country with market leading practitioners and a client base that includes international mining and construction companies, public and private healthcare providers, global banks, blue chip financial institutions, ASX listed companies, government agencies and enterprising SME's.
Your role
Due to growth our Brisbane HR&IR team is currently looking for a talented and experienced mid-level Lawyer to join our team. You will have the opportunity to work directly with our Partners, Dan Williams [link removed], Samantha Betzien [link removed], Victoria Hepburn [link removed] and Deanna McMaster [link removed] alongside our Special Counsel and Senior Associates. You will advise clients on a mix of litigation and advisory work across the full spectrum of employment law, industrial relations, discrimination and work health and safety.
What you need
We welcome applications from lawyers with:
- Advanced technical legal skills
- Experience practising in employment and industrial relations law, ideally gained at a reputable Australian law firm
- A client focused approach and the ability to build strong working relationships with clients, colleagues and peers
- Experience running matters or advice work with supervision and the ability to drive a matter forward autonomously where appropriate
- An interest in and willingness to contribute to business development initiatives for the team.
