About the business

We are a medium sized multi-disciplinary law firm that has offices in Sydney CBD, Parramatta, Melbourne CBD and Shanghai. Due to continuous growth, new positions have arisen to have a conveyancing settlement clerk to join our team in our Sydney CBD office.

• Knowledge of conveyancing software and Microsoft packages, including accurate and efficient typing skills

• Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
• Confidentiality
• Ability to use PEXA platform (preferred)
• Knowledge of Duties Online platform
• Communication fluency in English is essential, in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is desirable

Skills and experience

You will be expected to carry out the following tasks:

• Making telephone calls to parties relevant to a conveyancing matter including client, the other side's solicitor, agent
• Conducting searches
• Following up outstanding tasks
• Preparing documents for settlement
• Attending settlement when required
• Post-settlement client care
