ABOUT THE ROLE:

Newly created role, reporting to the Company Secretary, with plenty of scope to make this role your own.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Support the Company Secretary and Executive Management on general company secretariat and governance matters.
  • Coordinate meetings of the Executive Team, Board Committees and advisory groups - including all relevant board papers
  • Maintain Board Committee and advisory group forward program.
  • Advise on governance matters including conflicts of interest management.
  • Manage statutory corporate filings.
  • Review, advise, update and maintain all required statutory registers and records.
  • Lead a variety of business wide or departmental projects which require analysis of issues including consultation with stakeholders, development and execution of action plans and solutions whilst monitoring budget and regulatory obligations. 
  • Review and maintain business polices and registers under the carriage of the Company Secretariat Team
  • Educate and advise the business on the application of polices to develop awareness and increase compliance and governance. 

WHAT ARE THEY LOOKING FOR?

You need to have solid proven experience in a similar role, preferably with qualifications in Corporate Governance or working towards completing them.

As this is newly created role, you need to be adaptable, with strong initiative and be comfortable in an ever changing environment.
