Conveyancer/Conveyancing Paralegal

We are looking for a professional, friendly, and highly organised individual to join the team at this boutique Law Firm based in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

The role will include:

• Handling very high volume residential and some commercial conveyancing files from start to finish
• Dealing with new client inquiries
• Contributing to improving and growing the firm
• Dealing directly with our business partners/referrers and stakeholders

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to identify legal issues quickly and provide solutions
• Willingness to improve and produce quality work
• Previous track record dealing with client matters end to end - from initial contact to matter conclusion
• Excellent customer service skills
• The ability to multi task
• Most importantly, the ability to work very quickly and efficiently within a fast paced environment - must work well under pressure
• Work well autonomously as well as in a team
• Ability to engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner

The successful candidate must have:

• A-Z knowledge and experience in Victorian Conveyancing 
• A good grasp of software packages used within the legal profession, including PEXA

The matters for which the successful candidate will be responsible are mainly residential Victorian with some interstate matters (training will be provided for interstate matters if required)

Junior Lawyers with at least one full year of conveyancing paralegal work experience will be considered.
