About the Role

An opportunity has arisen for an Administration Assistant to join the team in our Brisbane office. Your main focus will be to provide support to the legal secretarial team and highly personable fee earners, working predominantly in the areas of professional indemnity, public liability and health law (compliance, litigation, disciplinary matters and health fund audits).

Key responsibilities

• Ensuring filing is up to date and files are maintained in a neat and orderly fashion
• Preparation of  various legal documents
• Scanning and photocopying of documentation
• Court filing
• Archiving of files
• Backup to main switchboard
• Other administration tasks as requested by team

About You

It is important that you possess the following experience and skills;
• Strong Microsoft office skills;
• A demonstrated capacity to work in a team;
• Assisting both Professional and Administrative staff to meet the requirements of our clients needs;
• The capacity to plan, organise, multi-task and manage time effectively;
• Familiarity with i-Manage & Open Practice, while not essential,would be an advantage.

Naturally you will also possess superior communication skills, a sharp eye for detail, be proactive and pre-emptive by nature and will have a demonstrated ability to prioritise within a high volume environment.
