Reached the 2-3 year mark and thinking the time is right to experience a new Partner / mentor?
Looking to maintain the complexity of disputes, but with more rounded / holistic access throughout?
Here;
- As only the third Lawyer within the team, behind a Special Counsel and a strong Senior Associate, there’s a good balance struck
- There’s enough ‘bench-strength’ that you won’t be chained to your desk round the clock, but not such a large team that you’ll be hidden behind the scenes doing discovery
Matters;
- Strong financial disputes line; complex trade practices activity for major financial institutions
- Primarily a domestic focus due to nature of the client base; major Australian institutions, media companies
- Intellectual property, ASIC and regulatory investigations, ACCC, securities law
- The firm is expanding the corporate ‘engine-room’ which, in turn, is seeing more dispute work flowing through
You;
- The global platform will allow you to access overseas resources and add a name and gravitas to a CV that will land well across Asian and European jurisdictions
- Leverage this to support an international move next, or grow within the local setting
- 2-4 yrs’ disputes experience, preferably in a global or top-tier. You will have strong academics.
