An opportunity has arisen for a legal administration assistant to support our legal team in our Sydney office. Day-to- day tasks will involve drafting and editing correspondence, ad hoc dictation, monthly billing, maintaining physical and electronic filing, archiving, diary management of senior staff as well as reception relief
About the Role
This is a varied legal administration role including:
- preparing correspondence and legal documents including amendments/word processing
- assisting with the preparation of presentations for business development initiatives
- month-end billing including generating draft bills, billing edits and finalisation
- arranging appointments (matter related and general)
- reconciliation of expenses
- liaising with service providers and third-party providers
- ensuring filing is up to date and files are maintained
- archiving of files on a regular basis
- daily Switchboard relief and ad hoc support when Reception on leave
About you
You will have previous experience in a legal administration role with advance skills in the MS suite. You are well known for your professional composure with the ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion and integrity always as well as your strong client service orientation. You have excellent time management skills with typing speed of 70 WPM plus take pride in your work and any support required by the Principal or Practice Head. Open Practice or imanage experience would be advantageous.
