This role is an integral part of a Government practice in a successful mid-tier firm that has a number of offices across Australia. They value their support team and provide them with great benefits and opportunity.
This role is an exciting opportunity for an intermediate secretary who is finding their normal role to be mundane and repetitive. This role is going to see you have the ability to step up and become a mini practice manager for this team. You will be supporting 1 Partner and 3 Fee earners with a variety of assistance including but not limited to:
- Complex document creation and amendments
- Diary and travel management
- Liaising with clients
- Billing
- File management
In addition to general legal and administrative support you will be responsible for:
- High level of client relationship management
- A variety of client reporting
- Mentoring junior administration staff
- Assisting Partner with any duties that assist the practice to run smoothly
You will be a Legal Secretary/Assistant who has 3-5 years’ experience in a Commercial or Govt secretarial role. You will be passionate about assisting the Partner to be successful and run a busy team. You will enjoy working autonomously and playing an integral part of practice functions and client relationships.
