An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate to join the Dispute Resolution team.

Key responsibilities include:
• Drafting court documents including further and better particulars, requests for further and better particulars, affidavits of documents, affidavits of particular discovery, affidavits in support of interlocutory applications and affidavits in support of applications for default judgement.
• Proceedings and Direction hearings in the Superior Courts
• Appearing at pre-hearing conferences in Magistrates Court
• Management of own files in relation to Court timetable
• Liaising with clients and insured parties
• Marketing and business development activities, such as writing articles for client newsletters, conducting in-house seminars etc.

To be successful in this role you will be commercial in your thinking and approach, possess good technical skills and have the ability to cope with a busy workload. You will have 5 + years’ litigation experience in motor vehicle insurance. Additionally, you will have well developed interpersonal and communication skills.
