The Firm 

Our client is a top-tier commercial law firm with offices in Melbourne and Sydney. They provide strategic legal and commercial advice to a diverse range of Australian and international corporations, high-net worth individuals and large family businesses.

The Role

To provide legal secretarial support to a senior partner. You will also work closely with other partners, lawyers and secretaries in the banking & finance department.

Duties

• Preparing correspondence, including memos and email communications
• Entry of timesheet data and preparation of client accounts (billing)
• File and diary management 
• File maintenance and archiving, including electronic file management and email management
• Other administrative tasks as required

Skills & Experience 

• At least 2 years’ experience as a legal secretary
• First class organisational and communication skills
• Advanced skills in Microsoft applications 
• Accurate typing, spelling, grammar and proof reading skills
