ABOUT YOU
Found your niche within the worker’s compensation space but worried that your firm may not make the cut at 2019's panel reduction? By all means, you could stay put to see who are the winners and losers out of that process, but there will be a number of people that hit the market at that time; get your feet under the table long before that influx.
STABILITY
With a team of 10+ at the Partner or senior practitioner level focused on this space, this firm is ideally situated to retain their place on the panel. They will also be largely insulated should it not work out as expected due to the breadth of their self-insureds and government / government agency representation. Cover common and statutory claims across the Supreme and District Courts as well as the Commission and Anti-Discrimination Board.
DEVELOP
Now that you are carving out a niche, it will be important to know that you can continue that development. Expect to be well supported in these endeavours. This firm has a transparent system whereby you will have a tailored document detailing both the expectations at your current level and what you will need to achieve to progress. There is also a value afforded to Specialist Accreditation, with support given to achieve this end.
Requirements; at least 3 years’ experience in defendant insurance law with a focus on worker’s compensation. You will have sound academics on your LLB.
