Aston Carter have partnered with a Boutique Fund Manager in the search for a strong compliance professional to join their growing team. This Fund Manager has a number of investment pathways operating through international channels and needs someone with a robust compliance background to give oversight to any regulatory or operational risks resulting from this. This Fund Manager is well known in the industry and is steadily increasing their FUM as they look to expand their operations.
As a key player in the business you will have a sound understanding of Asian and US regulatory environments in the Fund / Investment Management industry. You will understand any significant compliance issues that can arise through key operations such as capital raising, liquidity requirements and investment proposals, as well as having a knowledge around AML and the australian regulatory / compliance environment, You will be proactive and able to detect where risks may exist and guide the business appropriately.
- Provide compliance advice to the business
- Demonstrate knowledge of Asian and American regulatory environment
- FATCA, APRA, ASIC knowledge
- Strong team player
