About the business
Martin Street Lawyers is a general practice firm, with a large emphasis on litigation. We are looking for someone that is able to work well in a team and independently. This is an excellent opportunity for solicitors to join our vibrant firm.
About the role
You will do a variety of tasks within a broad number of practice areas, including:
-Property and Estate;
-Litigation;
-Commercial and Corporate;
-Family Law; and
-Criminal Law.
Candidates that have experience in litigation, are preferred.
Duties will include:
- Legal research;
- Filing, online court management, briefing, and assisting Barristers and Solicitors.
- Drafting correspondence to clients and other parties;
- Client management

Skills and experience

To be successful you will also need to demonstrate the following:
- Proficient English, and writing skills;
- Driven;
- 0-2 years PAE;
-Excellent verbal communication skills along with sound attention to details;
- Outstanding time management skills and ability to handle pressure;
- Ability to work well within a team and autonomously;
- Experience and ability to develop strong client relationships.
