THE ROLE:
The opportunity of Patent Practice Assistant role on offer will see you supporting a delightful Principal Patent Attorney and a Senior Associate who specialise in the niche areas of Physics, Medical Devices and ICT Inventions and Designs.  As acclaimed experts in their respective areas of expertise, it is essential that they have a Practice Assistant with high levels of concentration, an exceptional eye for detail and someone who is experienced at working to tight deadlines.   

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your daily responsibilities in this rare position will include dictaphone typing and dealing with hard copy documents, completing the procedures and formal requirements for filing Patent applications, diary management, amendments, dealing with IP Australia and all other general admin requirements.  At least two years in a similar position working as a Patent Legal Secretary will ensure you can hit the ground running in this role.  

IS THIS ROLE RIGHT FOR YOU? 
As the ideal candidate for this position, you will hold specific experience with intellectual property law as a Legal Secretary, preferably within Patents.  Your solid skills as a fast and accurate typist and ability to remain calm under pressure will assist in your success, as will any experience using Inprotech.
