Our client is a leading Barristers Chambers based in beautiful state of the art offices in the heart of Sydney’s CBD.  Over the last two years they have experienced significant growth and now house over 30 Barristers.  In addition to a great working environment, they offer a supportive culture and an enjoyable place to work. 
 
A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Law Clerk to join the team.  This is a busy and varied role that will see you work closely with a newly appointed Practice Manager to ensure the smooth running of the Chambers.
 
Duties will include:
  • Liaising with Barristers and handling requests
  • Extensive diary management of the Barristers
  • Coordinating meeting rooms and ordering lunches
  • Recording all incoming briefs and outgoing mail
  • Assisting with events and marketing strategies
  • IT management
  • Running general errands and court deliveries
  • Maintaining the general tidiness of Reception
  • Other administrative duties as required
  • Reception duties – answering calls and greeting clients
 
The Candidate
To qualify for this role you must have:
  • 4 years’ minimum experience within a busy professional services firm
  • Previous experience of Reception and Diary Management duties
  • Impeccable communication and organisation skills
  • A positive and friendly manner, happy to liaise at all levels and provide mentorship
  • The willingness to assist in all areas of the business where required
  • Advanced MS Office skills
