The Firm
The client is a long established and market respected global Energy & Resources company servicing clients in the Industrial, Energy, and Mineral sectors. They require a Commercial Contracts Adviser with 2 to 5 years’ PQE as a Commercial Contracts lawyer, or equivalent experience in-house in a contracts management role, to join their commercial team to manage all commercial and contractual arrangements - capturing the company’s strategies, and consistent with internal policies and guidelines.
They are inviting applications from commercially practical Commercial Contracts lawyers with 2 to 5 years’ PQE, and from applicants with equivalent prior in-house contracts management/advisory experience.
Being an integral member of a dynamic and close-knit team, you will provide legal, commercial and administrative support across all of the business lines on a variety of legal and commercial issues pertinent to the operations of the business.
Your day will be varied and challenging which will see you assist internal stakeholders such as Sales (contract review and negotiations), Insurance (applications and renewals), and Property (lease renewals), to name a few.
You will:
- have 2 to 5 years’ PQE as a Commercial Contracts lawyer, or equivalent as an in-house Commercial Contracts Manager/Advisor
- be legally technically able, while having a commercial approach
- have excellent interpersonal skills, able to build and manage client relationships
- be efficient in time management, working well under tight and competing time frames
- have a ‘business partner’ mentality providing quality support to both internal and external clients
