This niche Insurance Specialist who pride themselves on offering their staff a stable and supportive working environment are currently seeking a results focused Senior Case Manger to join their specialised long term claims department on a permanent basis.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Claims Manager, the primary duties of this role include:

• Managing your own portfolio of complex long term claims within regulatory guidelines
• Developing and implementing Injury Management & Return to Work plans on all significant injury claims
• Educating stakeholders on their legislative obligations
• Mentoring other Case Mangers within the team and being a technical 'Go-to' on more complex claims
• Negotiating with legal providers
• Estimates and wage calculations
• Case conferencing
• Ad-hoc reporting as required by the Claims Manager

About You:

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following:

• 3 + years experience managing workers compensation claims within a Scheme Agent, Self Insurer or Specialised Insurer environment
• Experience in handling complex long term claims
• Strong knowledge of the current legislation
• Excellent negotiation skills and communicational skills
