We are currently recruiting a rare opportunity for a leading premium reinsurer.
The role will see you processing both the technical accounts and claims recoveries within your assigned portfolio ensuring that it is ceded and recovered within the terms and conditions of the appropriate contract. You will regularly interact with multiple clients and departments within the business such as Finance, Actuarial, Underwriting and Claims Assessing.
Other day to day responsibilities in this role include:
- Looking at/ investigating incoming premium data to derive information and produce reports that will be sent on to various areas within the business;
- Onboarding new clients and mapping new processes
- Comparing contract agreements with claims data received;
- Producing a variety of reports throughout the year for the respective clients (life insurers);
- Dealing with a number of different stakeholders within - assessors, actuaries, marketing, finance.
You will have to be resilient and enjoy working with data. Previous experience in an analytical setting or technical life insurance position (reconciliation, investigations) would be a huge bonus to this role. A willingness to learn is also important as the work is so unique and finding the answers will often involve you searching for them.
You will have the support of the team, and a highly technical manager. The team is really easy going, and the role is one where you will be continually learning.
