We don’t just pay claims, we help our customers restore their quality of life and health, and we’ve invested more than $40M to do this. If you’re the best  Claims Consultant or have the passion to become one, we want you to work with us to develop and deliver our next industry-leading service proposition. This will include, amongst other initiatives, investment in wellness and mental health.

Our customers expect the best, and we have the most manageable caseloads and workloads around. This helps our teams to organise their work to give customers the best possible Claims experience, while enjoying work/life balance and flexible working conditions. We’ve invested in a new claims management system, and we’re integrating our other systems to make supporting our customers easier and streamlined.

We collaborate together to help our customers in their time of need – it takes a team of people (and more) to provide the best possible Claims experience to every customer. It’s rare in Life Insurance, but our Chief Claims Officer is part of MLC Life’s Leadership team, meaning we have a strong voice in the direction and decisions of the company, and importantly, provides career opportunities for our Claims professionals who have potential to go right to the top.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES

You demonstrate a great work ethic and resilience and enjoy making a difference to others. You have the ability to make sound decisions based on logic and analysis, and are a confident communicator with the capability to build genuine relationships.

YOUR ROLE MAKES A DIFFERENCE TO OUR CLIENTS AND YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Managing Lump Sum claims from initial assessment through to claim closure
• Completing Claims within Delegated Authority in a timely manner
• Contribute to collaboration and best practice within MLC Life Insurance claims
• Support our customers during their time of need with empathy and respect,
