The Role
As the Claims Insights and Solutions Specialist, you will be required to produce analysis of the claims value chain and current performance while applying claims management experience to deliver insights across the business. Your remit will include predictive and business insights, performance reporting, claims management performance frameworks and Personal Injury claims solutions. This is a critical role to help leaders understand the business and drive improvements.
The Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager, Claims Insights and Solutions, you will utilise claims management experience and data analytics to:
- Effectively deliver against current financial objectives, while meeting or exceeding the needs of our customers
- Use data analytics to provide insights about claims performance within and across schemes
- Provide analysis of claims value chain to ensure Personal Injury Claims is in the best position to meet scorecard goals
- Design and develop key operational metrics utilising internal and external data and research
- Assist in the design and implementation of a monthly and quarterly reporting framework to provide visibility about claims performance
- Analyse business goals and objectives to identify any organisation or system changes to meet scorecard goals
- Design and implement solutions to ensure claims management processes are effective and further the strategy of moving to a harmonised Personal Injury Claims business
- Work across the Claims Solutions team collaboratively to solve issues, take opportunities and promote new ideas for consideration
The Requirements
- Tertiary Qualifications in Business, Commerce, Statistics / Analytics or related field – Desired
- Minimum of 5 years relevant business and industry experience
- Strong general insurance knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to deliver effective claims analysis and insight
- Advanced conceptual thinking skills with the ability to identify interdependencies among system elements
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels
