Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Casualty/Liability underwriter to join a leading and well respected insurer. With multiple offices across Australia, they are in a strong position to further grow their Melbourne team.

Key Responsibilities:

Underwrite complex and hard to place liability risks.
Maintain and grow strong relationships with brokers and intermediaries
Acting as a technical referral point for complex risks
Delivering on current pricing strategies within the market
Supporting the implementation of the business strategy and profitable growth

Your skill set will include:

5+ years experience as a Casualty Underwriter
Excellent relationship building skills
Ability to maintain and grow a book of business
Must display strong communication and negotiation skills
Strong problem solving, analytical and judgement skills
