You will be a key part of a team who are keen to ensure that this vital touch-point for members of the fund are providing a competitive, compliant, comprehensive and sustainable Insurance product to those members.

Key Deliverable and Objectives of this role:

• Responsible for analysing, recommending and implementing processes and the required disclosure to ensure the Fund’s compliance with all current and future regulation.
• Ensuring the claims process is undertaken in an efficient and timely manner in accordance with the Fund’s Insurance philosophy, and SPS250.
• Analyse existing processes and member communications and make recommendations of process and disclosure changes
• Responsibility for managing the policy documents, business rules and disclosure documents for a portfolio of Corporate Insurance Solutions as well as providing support to the New Business Process when required.
• Make recommendations in respect of contentious death claims and
  death benefit objections and review complex declined TPD and Income Protection claims.
• Handle and resolve escalated insurance claim queries and liaise with the fund administrator and insurer for oversight on claim volumes and long duration claims

Key Skills Require for the role:

• A strong understanding of Insurance Industry regulations and their application within Super
• Strong knowledge and experience of dealing with Death, TPD and Income Protection Claims
• Experience in dealing with the Superannuation Complaints Tribunal
• A strong analytical eye, with the ability to evaluate and interpret insurance policy terms & conditions.
• RG146 compliant
