THE OPPORTUNITY

As we strive to develop a High Performance Culture an exciting opportunity has become available for a Quality Assurance Manager to join the People & Performance Team, based in either Parramatta or Melbourne. 

In this role you will work collaboratively with your People & Performance colleagues, National Leadership Team, Operational Managers, People Leaders and Technical Subject Matter Experts to provide technical and data driven insights to improve claims performance and customer outcomes in alignment with our strategic objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop a Quality Assurance Framework, KPIs and Reporting
  • Analyse claims performance through Closed and Open file reviews
  • Extract and analyse data to document and deliver findings to the business
  • Be instrumental in helping the business to identify continuous improvement initiatives
  • Escalate when leading indicators identify a potential risk to our Service Delivery & Quality Standards
  • Actively engage with the business to develop QA action plans that drive claims process and control improvements
  • Act as a Quality Assurance business partner and consultant for the ongoing performance of the Client Service Delivery Teams

What does success look like?

  • Sound technical expertise in claims - min of 5 years’ experience in claims
  • Previous experience in a quality assurance or internal audit role would be desirable
  • Excellent communication skills, along with a demonstrated focus on building stakeholder relationships
  • Attention to detail, a passion for quality and continuous improvement
  • A modern approach to improving the business and a willingness to embrace change
  • Self-motivated, ability to work autonomously  with excellent organisational skills
  • A colleague and leader that constantly practices the Sedgwick values Analytical abilities
