An exciting career opportunity exists for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join a leading Financial Lines insurance broking team at our international insurance broking house located in Sydney.
The successful candidate will have the chance to learn from and work with the leading specialist team in Australia in servicing the Financial Lines programs (Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers Liability and associated lines) for a broad portfolio of clients including ASX-listed, medium to large corporate, and professional and financial services firms. The role also provides the opportunity to work with our team across the country on national projects and initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing superior support to senior brokers
- Assisting in the delivery of first-rate service to clients whilst managing client interaction professionally and sensitively, observing strict confidentiality and discretion
- Developing and maintaining important relationships with insurers
- Actively and methodically manage the renewal process, including timely preparation of renewal reports and insurance manuals
- Timely and accurate response to general correspondence with clients and other stakeholders
- Participation in national team initiatives
To be successful you will:
- Have tertiary qualification in business, commerce, economics, law or similar discipline
- Prior experience in an insurance role preferred
- Hold Tier 1 compliance (Insurance Broking) or be willing to work towards
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Excel etc
- Ability to deliver results on time and in full
- Excellent and confident communicator in all forms
- Team player with high integrity
