Based on the city fringe, close to great cafes and public transport this underwriting agency specialises in providing cover for the Construction industry. They offer tailored products to their customers such as contract works, mobile plant and equipment cover, machinery breakdown, professional indemnity, third party liability, contractors pollution liability and more.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Providing quotes to brokers
- Developing and maintaining client and broker relationships
- Processing renewals
- Endorsements
- Issuing certificates of currency
- Examining claims history
- Retaining a profitable portfolio
Your skills and experience:
- Ideally you will have worked as a broker or an underwriter for the construction industry
- Or you will have experience as a liability underwriter
- The ability to manage a panel of brokers from the AIMS network.
- The ability to work autonomously and in a team
- Tier 1 General Insurance/RG146 qualifications
