The Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Team Manager to join our regional call centre in Warragul, due to company growth. The call centre receives customer calls for new claim lodgements, as well as policy administration queries. The incumbent will be responsible for managing a team of Customer Service Officers in the Claim Lodgement department.
We are ideally seeking someone with experience in both motor insurance and team management who can confidently lead a diverse team of Customer Service Officers, as well as providing guidance in matters relating to claims. We aim for efficiency, while enjoying a friendly and supportive, team-oriented environment.
The position requires availability across the span of operational hours, which includes weeknights and Saturdays on a rotating roster.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing and motivating a team of Customer Service Officers to achieve performance standards
- Assisting the Manager of the Regional Operations Centre by handling many of the day-to-day operational functions
- Providing excellent customer service, and ensuring Aioi Nissay Dowa presents professional and courteous service from its Warragul office
- Insurance experience
The Person
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Team management experience
- A high level of interpersonal, conflict-resolution and customer service skills
- Sound knowledge of the Call Centre performance measures
- Proven success in building team culture and high work ethics in your team
