THE OPPORTUNITY

The primary focus of this position is to enhance injury and claims management outcomes and the safe and sustainable return to work of injured workers. You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing a portfolio of work-related injury and illness claims
  • Collaborating with stakeholders (injured workers, employers and providers) to deliver personalised claims management strategies that support the achievement of high quality outcomes 
  • Working in accordance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures
  • Providing a service experience that is tailored, effective and client focused.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you'll have proven skills and experience, including:

  • Workers Compensation experience (highly desirable)
  • An empathetic, resilient, and motivational approach to provide customer centric support; 
  • A driven professional with highly developed written and verbal communication skills, outstanding organisational and coordination skills; 
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn;
  • Sound analytical, problem solving and decision making skills;
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management;
  • Experience and/or education in the field of physiotherapy, occupational therapy, exercise physiology, chiropractic etc would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Be outcome/results focused
