- Interestng and diverse role
Fantastic opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Workers Compensation Consultant with Emjay Insurance Brokers. Working autonomously and also alongside our workers compensation manager you will be responsible for providing support to our clients in a diverse and challenging role.
The role involves:
- Processing and management of claims for our clients nationally, liaising both with clients and insurers for the best outcomes
- Communicating with employers and injured workers to develop and implement robust RTW strategies
- Follow up of medical certificates, accounts and other case management material
- Participate in claim reviews and presenting updates to clients
- assist clients as required with training
- Management of all aspects of workers compensation including the development of associated risk management procedures and exposure
- Delivering a high level of customer service
- Acquiring a sound knowledge of clients industries, businesses and risk and developing strategies to reduce risk
- Efficiency and good time management a must
- Working closely with our broking team as required
The ideal candidate will be client focussed, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
Claims Management experience is essential. Must have a strong understanding of Workers Compensation Legislation and should have worked in a similar role. Exposure to premiums and underwriting is desirable but not essential.
Location
Currently located in Bankstown, south west Sydney. 5 minutes walk from the train station and free public parking nearby. We are relocating to Sydney CBD in early September 2018.
Salary
Remuneration will be based upon experience.
