An exciting opportunity to work with a globally recognised and highly-regarded insurance company, in a high-profile position.  

Reporting to the Underwriting Manager you will be responsible for the profitable underwriting of new and renewal Financial Lines business and for developing business relationships with key Brokers and Clients, on a national basis.  You will have the opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of the portfolio and receive ongoing support for your own personal development.  

Key responsibilities:

• Underwriting Financial Institutions and Commercial D&O risks
• Developing relationships with Brokers and clients to maximise growth and retention rates 
• Partnering with internal stakeholders to maximise client service
• Contributing to new product development
• Monitoring and steering portfolio performance to ensure profitability
• Working with internal underwriting teams to identify opportunities
• Maintaining market profile and visibility 

Key requirements:

• Strong technical underwriting expertise for FI & D&O business
• Strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Existing relationships with key Brokers in the Financial Lines market
• Proven track record of delivering account growth and profitable underwriting results
