Large Service Provider Looking For Experienced Hospitality Consultant.
Your new company
A large multinational professional services company that specializing in the auditing of the financial industry are looking for a highly professional catering supervisor.
Your new role
The main function of the role is to take a hands on approach to the in house catering service, from catering for events or large meetings on site. You will be responsible for overseeing all the corporate functions from the boardroom and meeting room coordination including the set up and break down of the rooms. In this role you will be in charge of managing a team of staff to ensure a proactive approach to policies and procedures are kept at the highest standard. Your role will encompass some facilities responsibility from over seeing ont and back of house. In addition to that you will also be tasked with the facilitation of seamless services across facilities, reception and audio visual services.
What you'll need to succeed
- Diploma of Business, Hospitality and Catering or experience, education and training within the
- hospitality industry- desirable
- Advanced Food Handlers Certificate or Food Safety Supervisor
- Advanced Occupational Health and Safety Certificate - desirable
- Experience in a high pressure catering, boardroom, corporate, hotel or events environment
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role
- Experience in menu planning and production Demonstrated ability to control food and labour costs, as well as a demonstrated analytical and mathematical ability
- Strong financial and budgeting skills
