We are seeking an all-round Chef to work in both the Mains/Grill & Pasta/Risotto Sections at our busy restaurant serving modern Italian and casual cuisine located in the Crown Casino Entertainment Complex at Southbank.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chef to join our busy team.
This is a full time salary based position, reporting directly to the Head Chef.
Experience will include: extensive food and product knowledge, provision of consistent quality and presentation in a fast paced high volume environment, ability to work under pressure, working within a team and minimum 3 years experience.
Must have experience in both the Mains/Grill and Pasta/Risotto sections of the kitchen.
Experience with Italian cuisine is essential.
Work is five shifts over a 7 day rotating roster which may be lunch or dinner service including on weekends and public holidays.
Attributes will include: a passion for food and customer focussed.
References are essential upon application.
