About the role:

As the General Services Officer on shift, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills and work across our kitchen, cleaning and laundry departments. No day will ever be the same. You will play a major supporting role assisting all staff members and residents in the facility. If you enjoy working in a busy and fast paced environment, but are also passionate about growing a career in aged care, then this role would be ideal for you.
 
What you can bring to Opal:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Aged care catering experience would be highly regarded
• The ability to work across our cleaning, kitchen and laundry departments.
• Previous experience in a commercial cleaning or a busy kitchen/ cleaning role
• A certificate in food safety would be highly regarded
• Empathy with the needs of the frail aged (dementia care included)
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Most important will be your passion for delivering a high quality service to make a difference for our Residents.
