The Property

This property located in the Hunter Valley is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to assist in the management and daily operations of the kitchen. Preferably seeking candidates with a background from a fast paced environment, strong people management experience and a good focus and understanding of wage and cost controls. This well renowned brand offers excellent opportunities for growth and development.

The Person:

• Must have previous experience in a Sous Chef role across all kitchen operations;
• Passionate and dedicated to your career and motivated to continue to develop: 
• Background from a fast paced environment with a focus on quality and consistency;
• Must have previous experience in supervising and leading teams through service and high demand periods;
• Have an eye for detail and ability to multitask;
• Take direction well and work unsupervised;
•  Great team leader and player with a can do attitude;
•  Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends;
• Excellent understanding of WH&S requirements and ability to drive this with the team.
