Branch Manager - Gold Coast

At Max Brenner, we are committed to creating the best chocolate experience. With 43 Chocolate Bars, Australia wide and ambitious plans for immediate growth, we are currently seeking an experienced Café Manager to join our Company as part of the management team.

This hands-on position is suitable for an energetic, positive and enthusiastic chocolate lover looking for a challenging and rewarding position in the hospitality industry. You must possess a "can do attitude" and the ability to manage a high traffic Café.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering the ultimate chocolate experience, as per Max Brenner's high standards
• Managing all aspects of the branch
• Meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Implementing and promoting high standards of service to increase customer satisfaction.
• Staff Management (recruiting, selecting, training)
• Implementing operational standards to increase profitability
• Managing store budgets (stock, costs and labour)

To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate the following:

• At least 3 years relevant hospitality management experience in a café and/or restaurant or suitable qualifications
• Exceptional customer service skills
• People management skills : including training and developing staff
• Experience with cost control: food and labour costs
• Computer literate with the ability to prepare and analyse spread sheets
• Sound knowledge of food safety regulations
• The ability to lead and motivate a team
• Enthusiasm and flexibility

Previous proven experience in hospitality management is essential
