As part of the team at The Star based in Pyrmont, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring that the first and last impression is enthusiastic and professional. The ideal candidate will be fast, reliable, engaging and ensure that our guests receive optimum service every time. In addition, we are looking for people who love using their initiative, think outside the box and go the extra mile to ensure we thrill our guests.
About you:
- Completed (currently completing) Food Tech or a Hospitality course in school as a subject or VET course (not essential)
- Availability to work a shift roster across 24hours/7days, including public holidays
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Most importantly you have to be passionate about the industry and strive to deliver 5 star service every time!

About the apprenticeship
Over the full time three-year course you will be rotated every three months across the 20 different outlets in The Star property including our mass production kitchens, events, casual and fine dining restaurants. You will be fast tracked through TAFE with your colleagues over a block period to then be able to completely focus the practical side.
