About the role

Atura Adelaide Airport is currently seeking a vibrant, social and motivated Hotel Duty Manager to join our ranks. We are in pursuit of an individual that will be the driving force behind a team that delivers exceptional experiences to our guests through attentive, genuine and passionate service. 

A Hotel Duty Manager is the face of the hotel, someone who is bubbly, energetic and extremely positive, yet has that calming influence on both staff and guests.

A Hotel Duty Manager is to:

  • Supervise and support the teams on shift and are the direct line of authority in the absence of senior management
  • Undertake general Front Desk and Food & Beverage roles as required
  • Lead and mentor the team through training and development
  • Responsive to guest needs; resolving any issues that may arise 
  • Conduct daily briefings and reporting

Skills and experience

So do you have the Atura flair? What we are looking for:

  • Must have a current SA RSA
  • Hotels are your game, with 2 years experience in 4/5 star properties in the capacity of Front Office and Reservations as a team leader, shift supervisor, assistant manager or duty manager.
  • You'll have excellent customer relations, problem solving and time management skills.
  • You have a working knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Opera or Fidelio and an understanding of point of sales systems such as Micros.
  • You are fully conversant with all hotel emergency procedures.
  • A positive influence and team player
  • Able to multitask and remain calm during peak service periods
  • Consistently deliver superior customer service
  • Display a high level of professionalism whilst on duty
  • Flexibility to work a 7 day rotating roster which involves various shifts including mornings, evenings including weekends and public holidays
