- A small local cafe (Upper Coomera, QLD). head chef wanted.
- Breakfast and lunch only.
- No night, no split shifts
A local café looking for a Qualified Experienced Chef to join our small team.
-Experience in modern café menu design an advantage
-Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a café environment
-Emphasis on leadership skill to ensure consistency and great kitchen management with minimal wastage
-Making sure all meals and food go out to a high standard
-Proficiency in all aspects of food safety, including HACCAP
-Stock takes, ordering, and stock rotation
-Ensuring good service are controlled with cleanliness, speed and efficiency
-A passion for food in line with our client’s vision, and desire to consistently improve
-Bring creative idea for menu changes, specials , using your good kitchen skill to produce more café fare
-Have a good knowledge of industry trends
-A Creative thinker, quick learner and problem solver
-Have Excellent interpersonal and positive communication skills
-Responsible for open & closing of store
