A company with big visions and ambitions, we are currently experiencing an exciting growth period, and are seeking an Experienced Product Leader to join the team.

This position is a highly rewarding, diverse and fast-paced role that needs a true stand out to roll up their sleeves and get involved.

As the ideal candidate you will have leadership experience across the travel industry including both strategy and operations.  You will be highly organised, ambitious and have a positive, can-do attitude. 

The role offers variety with genuine career opportunities in a great environment and will be based in the Brisbane CBD office.

THE ROLE – HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Working with the Senior Management Team team you will own and drive the Product Strategy for the business to meet both immediate and long term objectives
• Design product range to align with Brand positioning and targeted Customer demographics
• Manage key supplier relationships and negotiate contracts for positive business outcomes
• Deliver training programs to ensure sales team are 'best in market' experts
• Continually innovate product range to lead the market and develop strategic partnerships with Sports and Events Venues/Promoters to deliver competitive advantage to the business
• Work with Finance Manager to reconcile event finances and manage risk of inventory and contract requirements with events
• Assist with the organisation of other aspects of an event (beyond travel) to ensure the successful delivery of the event that achieves the objectives of both the company and client

• WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Experience across the travel industry, with a focus on strategy and influencing outcomes
• Exceptional knowledge of Global Sports and Events
• Excellent communicator with the ability to effectively and productively manage internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Highly efficient and organised with strong time management & organisational skills
• Excellent airfare knowledge and product experience
• Ability to operate highly autonomously when required, but also functioning as a team player, sharing information and providing input
• Can demonstrate strong attention to detail
• Proven ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Ambitious individual with passion to grow and develop
• Must possess initiative, creative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Systems experience, desirable (Galileo or other GDS, Tourplan, Events Air or similar)
