About the role
The Cabin Small bar situated in Mt Hawthorn is looking for a passionate Sous Chef to assist in the day to day running of the kitchen and to lead in the absence of our Head Chef.
We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced person with knowledge of current food trends and a stable working background. We are wanting someone to work with Head Chef to help shape our menu and maintain quality / consistency while managing costs.
We have a small kitchen garden to grow herbs and vegetables. We have make our own Charcuterie as well as cured our own meats, salami & sausages in house.
The menu changes with what becomes available at the time as well as seasonally to ensure we give fresh and varied food options.
We also cater for canape and banquet functions and have feature wine and beer dinners throughout the year.
The position requires you to work weekends with 2 days off per week.
