We are currently looking for a talented Director of Sales who will be responsible for conference sales at the reimagined Lancemore Hill at Macedon Ranges. This amazing 70 room boutique Hotel with a Conferencing DNA is currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment for relaunch in August. There has never been a better time to place your stamp on the success of a property.

Based at the Lancemore Group's Head Office in Melbourne and reporting to the hotel General Manager, this is an amazing and rare opportunity for an experienced and passionate senior BDM or DOS. The successful applicant will have previous experience driving sales, sourcing new clients, maintaining existing relationships, maximising sales and increase occupancy through networking, promotions and marketing.

About You:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in Sales Management role, with strong exposure to MICE Sales
  • Experienced, successful and passionate about meeting sales targets and KPI's
  • Have established networks
  • Strong leadership and sales conversion skills, able to negotiate commercial outcomes and hungry to secure new business
  • Passion for managing and maintaining key accounts
  • Team player, great personality and passion for boutique hotels and the service that matches the quality of our product
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with a dash of charm
  • Success in selling via lead generation and cold calling
  • Conduct familiarisation and site inspections at the property with new and existing clients
  • You will have a 'can do' attitude and understand what it takes to achieve the best results and provide an unforgettable experience for their clientele
