The Role:
Holiday Inn Potts Point are looking for a passionate, part-time Commis Chef. If you're keen to create different styles of cuisine, learn tricks of the trade from our amazing Head Chef, and work with a tight-knit, creative team - then this role is the next step in your culinary career. On the daily, you'll prepare an array of dishes for our guests, making them remember that "awesome meal" they had at Sirocco Potts Point. There’s variety as we are open for breakfast lunch and dinner, while catering for room service, conference and events. There’s also the opportunity to interact with guests as you’ll cook from our open kitchen that comes to life during breakfast!
The Person:
Qualification in commercial cookery/culinary arts from a registered training provider
6-12 months experience in a commercial kitchen
Strong organisational skills
Team player with a collaborative approach to work
Strong attention to detail, written and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload
