Recruiting for a Venue Outlet Manager
We are seeking a passionate Venue Manager and hospitality professional with excellent knowledge of upscale venues, quality service and cocktails. This individual will be an integral part of our award-winning management team, and be responsible for driving the customer service experience and business results in this unique venue at Next Hotel Brisbane.
The Pool Terrace and Bar at Next Hotel is Brisbane’s favourite destination to chill and unwind with your favourite beverage and enjoy perfect year-round weather. Centred around a 20m infinity-edge pool, the bar is the perfect spot to soak up all that Brisbane has to offer, both day and night.
The Venue hosts many corporate events, private functions, delivering exceptional service to all customers, including hotel guests (304 rooms ) and locals. The Venue Outlet Manager will be flexible & adaptable in service styles and drive the team to deliver a consistent high level of service to drive revenue.
As the Venue Outlet Manager, you will support the Food and Beverage Manager to drive customer service standards and revenue outcomes across other areas of the Food and Beverage operation at the hotel.
You will have in your skill repertoire:
- Knowledge and experience in driving revenue & controlling costs
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in leading a team in a busy bar environment
- Experience in training and motivating a large team
- Extensive cocktail knowledge as well as a thorough understanding of spirits on a premium back bar
- Impeccable presentation, both personal and quality of service/product
- Passionate about a career in hospitality
- Creativity, resilience and a focus on a memorable customer experience
- RSA
- QLD RMLV and Approved Manager's License is desirable.
- Full availability for a rotating roster 7 day a week
