About the Business 
Vue Events is one of Melbourne's premium event brands, offering bespoke event services in unique event spaces.  As a division within Shannon Bennett's Vue Group, Vue Events is renowned for its delivery of beautifully crafted experiences ranging from weddings, corporate, private, external events and more.

The Role and Responsibilities
As our Event Operations Supervisor, you will work directly with our Events Manager and Assistant Operations Manager.  This role will be responsible for supervising events on the day, working in conjunction with the brief. You will be the ambassador of Vue Events to our clients during each unique event.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring all aspects of functions and events are handled with a superior level of service, from enquiry to delivery and follow up.
• Coordination and communication of details for functions and events with operational staff.
• Supervise staff progress at all times to ensure that standards are consistently maintained and improved.
• Building exceptional relationships with our clients and their guests throughout the duration of their events and beyond.
• Supervising, leading and being hands-on during setup & pack down activities, event administration and reporting.

Our ideal candidate will have previous hands-on supervisory experience in an event operation within a premium brand - fine dining is an advantage. You will be highly organised, flexible and be known for your ability to provide exceptional service at all times.
You must be able to work effectively and efficiently under pressure and possess the ability and experience to support the leading and developing a dedicated team of staff. The role will demand a sound knowledge of the hospitality events industry in Melbourne.  You will be passionate about your craft, immaculately presented, and have the ability to communicate with influence.

This is a full-time permanent position which will require flexibility and weekend work.
