The Harbord Diggers Club is currently undergoing a phenomenal transformation building a world class intergenerational precinct. To support the venture, the team is in the process of developing an authentic team who share the same values and champion our vision of a superior customer experience. This is a rare opportunity for an energetic, motivated and committed team players to join our Bar team.

The role:

Reporting to the Head Cellarman this position will be responsible for the maintenance of the Club’s beverage, cellar and back of house operations.

More specifically your day to day duties will include:

• Oversee & maintain the operation of the beer reticulation system
• Ensuring accurate records are maintained i.e. wastage recording, stock movements, stock on hand, transfers, par levels, WH&S issues & system failures
• Maintaining all equipment associated with the cellar area, including taps, snap locks, check valves, beer manifolds, glycol, spirit dispensers and fridges
• Order and receive beverage stock as well as spare parts for maintenance
• To oversee cellar staff and rosters
• To develop cellar procedures
• Liaise with other departments, delivery drivers and contractors/technicians

The person:

To be considered for this role, you must have the following:

• Experience in a similar role
• Willing to undergo manual handling
• A driver's licence
• Desire to work in a team environment
• RSA & RCG certification (current)
• Flexibility to work days and weekends
