NoosaCare Inc. is a non-profit organisation which prides itself on providing fresh, nutritional well-presented meals to our residents, resident's families and staff.

We are seeking experienced casual Catering Assistants for immediate start to join our enthusiastic team for a range of shifts, including days, some evening and weekend work, across both of our aged care facilities in Cooroy and Tewantin.

You will be expected to perform food preparation and food service under the direction of a Head Chef and engage in general cleaning, dishwashing and other duties as required. 

The successful applicants will:

• Demonstrate experience in food preparation and food handling and knowledge of food safety standards;
• Possess the ability to multi-task and effectively manage their time working in a busy kitchen environment;
• Have a caring, respectful and professional attitude towards our residents and other staff;
• Be well presented and share a commitment to NoosaCare Inc's philosophy of providing fresh, nutritional and well presented meals to residents, families and staff
• Be required to supply a current national police certificate and must be permitted to work in Australia

Prior experience in an aged care environment and food handling certificate would be well regarded.
