Role:

• Well established venue in operation for over 20 years, Sydney CBD location
• A competitive remuneration package for the right candidate
• Offers the opportunity to work with over 180 wines and 30 wines by the glass with a European influenced wine list.
• This client is a proud award winner of 3 goblets and wine list of the year 2016 and 2017
• The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 2 to 3 years experience in a similar role as Sommelier or Assistant Sommelier position.
• No Sunday trading -Also closed for Christmas New Year period
• In this role the successful applicant will not just be selling & pouring during wine during service, but also greeting, seating customers and floating throughout the restaurant.
• Resonsible for stock, suppliers, ordering within budget
• Customer focus, 90% of the time on the floor, 10% admin

About you:

• Have dining experience preferable in a high end restaurant
• Be flexible to work 5 nights - 2/3 lunch services
• Have completed CMS or WSET
• Well groomed - friendly with a good time keeping manner & a team player
• Confident in stock control and ordering- Wines & Spirits
• Capable of hosting occasional Wine Maker Dinners
• Responsible for stocktake and ordering within budget weekly, invoicing through Delta - sales vs purchase reports to owners weekly.
