Murphys is a Geelong institution that has been around since 1855 and is centrally located in Geelong West. Our Front Bar & Restaurant seats over 100 customers and serves high quality modern Australian cuisine that is a step above your average Pub meal.
We have recently undergone a major rebrand and renovation, which includes a 100 person Rooftop Bar. We also have a brand new kitchen dedicated to traditional Italian wood-fired pizza's.
Things are very busy with 2 kitchens and we have opportunities for experienced, passionate and motivated Chefs to join our tight knit kitchen team and help drive the success of our Pub. You will be working alongside, and mentored by our Executive Chef.

About you:
As a self-motivated, passionate and focussed individual you will possess the following attributes:
- Must be a qualified Chef
- Experience in a busy Pub or Restaurant
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Commands respect and hard work in the kitchen
- Team player and supportive of a culture of team work
- The ability to work productively with all other Chefs and staff
- High food standards in taste and presentation
- Ability to put forward innovative and creative food ideas for a seasonal menu
- Strong attention to detail for product / service
- Extremely focused on delivering the best experience for our customers.
